Kennsho
My parents named me Kenneth, but I later renamed myself Kennsho. When I was a teenager, I listened to "DJ Bencho" so later I camouflaged "Kennsho" among my school friends who used to call me "Kenchula" (that's another story).
I'm a musician, sound technician, producer. I have participated in some bands, I have composed original music for television, theater and commercials but I have never published a solo album. Until now.
Actually, "Enlaces" does not seek to be a solo project. Quite the opposite; An important part of the creation of this sample is to convene musicians, artists and professionals interested in being part of this project and linking us.
Just as chemical bonds allow the attraction between elements to form compounds, these Bonds attract people with whom to form something larger and more stable than what a single individual can achieve.
KennshoW
KennshoW is the title that bears this first demo/links album, as it comes, literally, from a program, show or show that Kennsho has prepared to show, to share.
During the quarantine I set out to record an album of 10 songs. Some of the songs were already composed and only had to be recorded and arranged, others were halfway done and others were just born. What I share here is a partial result (work in progress). Precisely, the main intention of this exhibition is to draw the attention of interested parties who want to participate by collaborating in the official musical production of these 10 songs.
These 10 songs try to show me a little beyond the superficial and share my thoughts, impressions, learnings, emotions, stories and dreams related to growing up, maturing, questioning, introspection, spiritual awakening, the search for well-being, meaning and purpose.
